Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
Ripliancum LLC (“Riplii,” “we,” “us”) runs Riplii, a construction project management platform at riplii.com and in the Riplii iOS app (the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Service and to our website. Our Terms of Service govern your use of the Service.
1. Your organization’s content
Most of what goes into Riplii is content that you and your organization put there: projects, drawings and sheets, files, photos, RFIs, submittals, issues, schedules, budgets, contracts, bids, directory entries and messages (“Customer Content”). We store and process Customer Content to provide the Service to the organization that owns it, under its instructions and the permissions its administrators set. The organization decides who can see it. If you use Riplii through an employer or another company’s project, that company may be able to see and manage what you add, and you should direct questions about its use of your information to it.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only as a hash), phone number, company and role.
- Organization and business information: company names, addresses, contacts, trades, licenses, insurance and compliance details and, if your organization enters it, a tax identification number.
- Customer Content described above, including any personal information it contains about you or others (for example, names and contact details of project contacts).
- Communications: feedback you send in the app, support requests and screenshots you attach to them.
Information from sign-in providers
If you choose “Continue with Apple,” “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Microsoft,” we receive your name, email address, a unique account identifier and, for work accounts, information identifying your organization’s Google Workspace domain or Microsoft tenant. We use it to sign you in and, where your organization has enabled it, to confirm that you belong to a company’s verified domain. With Apple you can choose Hide My Email, and we then receive only a relay address that forwards to you. We do not receive your Apple, Google or Microsoft password, and we do not access your mailbox, files or contacts.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and log data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages and features used, and timestamps. Riplii keeps an access log of who viewed or changed records in an organization, which that organization’s administrators can review.
- Device information (iOS app): a push notification token if you allow notifications.
- Camera, photos and location (iOS app): only when you use features that need them and grant permission, for example taking a site photo. Photos you upload may include the location where they were taken, which Riplii can show on a project map.
- Cookies and local storage: we use cookies and similar storage that are necessary to keep you signed in, keep the Service secure and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the Service, including authentication, permissions and access logging.
- To send service messages such as invitations, notifications, password resets and bid communications you or your organization trigger.
- To provide AI features you choose to use, such as drafting an RFI or generating a submittal register.
- To respond to support requests and feedback, and to improve and troubleshoot the Service.
- To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms.
- To comply with law and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use Customer Content to train AI models.
4. How we share information
- Within your organization and projects: according to the roles and permissions set by administrators. When you join a project run by another company, the information you add there is visible to that project’s participants as their settings allow.
- With connections you authorize: if you connect an AI assistant or another app to your Riplii account, it can access the data your account and the permissions you grant it allow.
- Service providers that process information for us under contract, including: Supabase (database, file storage and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (AI features), Apple (push notifications for the iOS app, and Sign in with Apple), OpenFreeMap (map tiles, which receive your IP address when a map loads), and Google and Microsoft (when you use them to sign in).
- For legal reasons: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Riplii, our users or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
5. Retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. We keep Customer Content for as long as the owning organization keeps it in the Service; projects and records that are deleted are removed after any recovery period shown in the app. We may keep limited information longer where needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, keep security and access logs, or enforce our agreements. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage at our providers, role-based access controls enforced in the database, and access logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information. Please use a strong password and keep your sign-in credentials private.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your profile in the app, and change your notification preferences.
- You can disconnect AI assistants and other connected apps at any time.
- On iOS you can turn off camera, photo, location and notification access in Settings.
- You can delete your account yourself, on the web under Account or in the iOS app under Account → Delete account. Your profile is anonymized, your memberships and personal settings are removed, and projects that only you belong to are deleted; records you created in other organizations’ projects stay with those projects, attributed to “Deleted user.”
- You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal information by emailing riplii@riplii.com. If your information is part of an organization’s Customer Content, we may refer your request to that organization.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to know what we collect, to delete or correct it, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We will verify and respond to requests as the law requires. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Where the GDPR applies, we process personal information to perform our contract with you or your organization, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent.
8. International transfers
Riplii is operated from the United States and our providers store data in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, if the changes are material, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
